Overall, it was a great experience! I tried a lot of other places before I found this location, and I highly recommend just going here first. The staff was extremely helpful the entire time I was there. The prices were excellent, and selection was abundant to say the least. I went in for new ski boots and left with new skis and boots for the whole family. Wonderful experience!! A++

I’ve been coming here for 41 years and the reasons why I will never go elsewhere are simple. 1- Excellent knowledgeable and super friendly bilingual staff who are always happy to help you and service you so you’re happy and satisfied. 2- Superb selection of top quality products, brands, at pricing you will never ever see at any other sporting goods store retailer. 3- Onsite installation and adjustments done fast and to perfection. 4- there is such a cook energy in this place. It’s like a ski haven that you just want to be a part of. It’s not stuffy and pretentious with fancy displays - it’s all about high quality product at best pricing possible. Special thanks (and cudos) to the excellent staff members I had the pleasure to work with such as, but not limited to Steve (usually in the ski section at the back), Melanie (usually at the middle in ski clothing), Victor (the south of France cool giant serving in the clothing area), Marine (typically working where the goggles are), and a few others who helped me fit my daughter and I with all new ski gear.

We were assisted by Mr. Gennadii, who expertly helped us select our seasonal ski set rental equipment. Upon entering Poubelle De Ski, we noticed a queue, but our wait was brief. Each customer is personally attended to by an in-store expert, especially those looking for seasonal equipment rentals or new gear. They offer a wide array of winter sports gear, both for purchase and seasonal rental. The ski rental we got was priced at $199 plus taxes. At the customer service section, all measurements were taken , and the staff patiently allowed us to try various boots until we found the perfect fit. They meticulously checked and adjusted settings such as the DIN, Binding position/ forward pressure etc. based on our personalized skiing level. The checkout process of rental ski equipment was smooth, we were guided to register on their website and paid using a credit card, including an insurance purchase for the seasonal rental ( it would be charged only if equipment is not returned before return date for season) . The gear was rented for the 2025 winter season, with a return date set before end of September 2025. We found the pricing and quality of the rental gear to be excellent and appreciated the store's competitive prices on new equipment. Based on my personal experience , I would recommend renting gear for a season if you are new to winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. This approach is more cost-effective than daily rentals at ski stations and allows you to gauge your skill level while ensuring you get the best-fitting equipment , and having full set of gear at affordable price is good motivation to jump start and enjoy winter in Canada . It's a nice way to try different gear sizes and improve your skills before investing in expensive equipment. It worked out wonderfully in my case. Plenty of paid street parking is available within a block away from the store on the same street. By public transport , Closest metro is Jarry followed by ~10 min walk to the store. Cheers.

In and out in 33 minutes on a Saturday morning in January, not bad. Bought new skis and had boots fitted for a beginner. Friendly and experienced staff helped a beginner 🙂 price was pretty good too, much better than online. While I understand that the experienced skier may need some extra attention, this store is very good for beginners. I wish they still sold used gear, but at the price they sell new gear I can’t complain.

Avis mitigé. J’ai payé 45 $ pour un entretien annuel de ski et souhaitais aussi acheter de nouvelles chaussures. Concernant les chaussures, rien à redire : l’équipe a été très professionnelle, et je suis pleinement satisfait. En revanche, l’entretien des skis laisse à désirer. Quand j’ai laissé mes skis, on m’a annoncé un délai de 30 minutes. Plus tard, l’employé est revenu m’informer qu’un petit bris près d’une carre nécessiterait un peu plus de temps. Pas de problème jusque-là. Cependant, il revient ensuite pour m’envoyer directement à la caisse, où l’on m’informe que 11 $ supplémentaires ont été facturés pour l’utilisation de P-Tex (alors qu’un bâton coûte environ 2 $ en boutique). Aucune mention préalable de ce supplément, ce que je trouve peu transparent. Enfin, après récupération des skis, j’ai remarqué que plusieurs zones n’avaient pas été correctement fartées, malgré ma demande de retoucher ces parties. Même après une "deuxième vérification" avant de quitter le magasin, le travail restait inachevé. En résumé, si le service pour les chaussures est excellent, je déconseille cet endroit pour un entretien de skis, le rapport qualité-prix n’étant pas au rendez-vous.

Très bons conseils pour un achat de lunettes de ski. Ils ont tout dans ce magasin. Location et achat de skis, patins, skis de fond, etc. Beaucoup de choix de vêtements et accessoires à l'achat également. On peut aussi y faire entretenir son matériel.
