14 March, 2024: This gym is probably one of the best gyms I have ever seen in this province. Better than my place of work. Here is my reason… Best parts: 1) It’s clean and really clean. 2) The machines and weights were perfect sizes and they have different sizes and levels. 3) The gym is well maintained and the receptionists are kind and vary from time of day and hours. 4) Location is nice and good. 5) They have rules and measure set in place. No pictures and no harassment etc. 6) They have Trainers to see your level of health and things like that for Students and anyone that are in programs and vice versa. It’s super cool and convenient. 7) They have services that you can take. 8) Good Opening times and closing times. on weekends it’s earlier closing time. Worst Parts: 1) The Locker rooms beed renovating ASAP. It looks like it’s 20 years ago. 2) It’s not a secure Gym since people can enter from the sides of the Entrance and things like that. So maybe they should address that and enter from Safer areas. 3) The students athletes are there from time to time and they may be loud depending but they have the right since it’s for the school and athletes. 4) Hope they implement Cimate change procedures in, out and around the building and make it environmentally sustainable for future use. 5) Gym equipment should be more state of the art equipments because it feels like cheap equipments. Maybe They should be like NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB etc. Level equipments. 7) Memberships are pricey at best but have deals and other perks and it is worth it if you want to be inspired and surrounded by others and students athletes. Conclusion: I hope to comeback here and train and maybe I would like to be a student here again for pricing. This Gym is worth it and better than most. I would reccomend this Gym.

The equipment is fine but weight machines don't allow for smaller increments when increasing in weight. For example, if you are at 80 you can't go to 90. It jumps to 100 lbs. So, not safe for general public and bad for those who are injured which is ironic since its purpose is to be a research centre for better exercise practices. There is a lot of staff. Some are friendly enough but it's the permanent ones that get aggro for no reason. And not very helpful. If you don't know how to use something, they look annoyed at you as if you're an idiot and should already know even if it's your first day. They have a few regulars they're friendly with but those regulars are the big jerks that like to hog the machines or act like Karens.

This is one of the best, most complete and holistic therapies I have experienced so far. I am receiving both chiropractor care plus physiotherapy - complementary. In short, I have worked with 2 different AT students, between November and April. The staff - students, supervisors and support - are very caring, friendly, warm and compassionate. Plus, they provide you with a plan adapted to one's particular and unique situation. Very satisfied and happy with the service I have received, I left with the following tools, until the surgery, upcoming between now and end of February 24: exercises with and without stretch or minibands, water therapy (I love), auto-massage, stretching, trampoline, coordination exercises with a ball or pillow, breathing, warming pads, and the list goes on and on. Finally, once operated, I am going to sign up again, to receive a new, adapted, custom-tailored treatment plan. Thank you again and so much. You are the best, simply!

Would recommend 10/10 especially if you are a Concordia Student. One of the best gyms i've been to. They don't force you to get annual membership like other gyms, the staff are super friendly, and the gym is really clean. Also has high tech machines that count reps for you and show a recommended concentric/eccentric time.

The people running the gym are nice, but the gym lacks in its equipment. The gym has a lot of machines from technogym that makes up a lot of the equipment and luckily has a few squat racks and benches. However, for a gym that is supposed to be used by a lot of the Concordia athletes, it lacks the equipment to do a lot of non-machine exercises and more specific exercises. I have spent most of my workouts at this gym looking for something I need or something that can replace the exercise I need to do which is quite time consuming.

Great Training Facility, The equipment is in Impeccable shape, everything is clean and looks new! I'm considering getting into Concordia just to get the student discount hahah! Staff is friendly and professional. They also have Kinesiology Therapy for sports injuries in the building. I guess the only thing is missing would be some ambient music, It's dead silent in there.. It's not a nuisance but definitely something to get used to.. It helps you to focus on your breathing, that's for sure!

This gym has so much potential - lots of quality equipment, quiet space, lots of windows and natural light. It's right next to the Concordia campus so it's convenient. A star is lost for price point and front counter staff. For a university facility it is quite expensive, and it's even more expensive if you'd like to rent one of the usually empty lockers for the semester. The front counter staff are usually rude and unhelpful. I was told to "suck it up" when asking for a favor once. Another star disappears because ice cold showers: in the middle of winter it is just not very nice - it does say to push the button a few times but the waste of water must be monumental to get a decent temperature. It gets two stars because well it's a gym, and you get a decent workout when you go there. That's it.
