Most kids start learning piano at age 4 or 5, but my son began when he was only 3 and a half. At this young age, it’s usually hard to keep a child focused or engaged, but Mitra is incredibly patient, experienced, and truly knows how to connect with little ones. She makes learning fun and natural for them. I still remember one day when my son had just woken up and really didn’t feel like going to class — even I couldn’t convince him! But Mitra gently encouraged him, and he happily joined the lesson. I’m very happy with her teaching style, patience, and warm approach, and my son absolutely loves his piano lessons!

When I first contacted Harmony Academy I was not sure if my daughter (3 year old at the time) is old enough to take lessons. They offered us a trial session and the teacher told me that she is good to start... I was still skeptical. But after couple of sessions with her teacher (Mitra) I was sure that my daughter will not only learn but also enjoy the piano! I am so impressed by Mitra's patience and her ability to connect with a toddler while keeping it all professional!

My daughter is very happy at Harmony academy of music and has made a significant progress in playing piano. His teacher, Arash Teymourian, is a dedicated music teacher with a passion for music and new teaching methods. His ability to connect with children, his patience and encouraging approach make him a truly exceptional educator. What I love about them is that they organize concerts from time to time that help young children build their confidence and enable them to confidently play music in their group of friends and family.
