A big shout-out to EC Montreal for young achievers program! We are very happy to have joined in during unlimited teachers' strike in Quebec. Guys, I am serious, in winter, with no secondary school (and no school sport either), it is a life-saver. Your teen will be busy (mornings and some afternoons) and involved in a number of useful tailor-made age-appropriate activities. At EC Montreal they know really well what they are doing. Kids are super happy because of all the language and social activities (in class and out), they get involved in some projects. They can travel with the school, as well. New friends, a lot of English (or French, take your pick), great location downtown, technology in class, professional teachers and a lot of enthusiasm and love to what they are doing. Now we are thinking about summer vacation with EC Montreal. Highly recommend!

The school was really bad in its french classes, there is little reason to give A2/B1 students only vocabulary and basic grammar classes. No reading skills or listening skills were improved upon. I really think that best part of the money spent, was for paying the stay. The system to upgrade/level up is ridiculous, they do not test you unless 3 people who do not care about your progress all agree to change you classes. TLDR: If you really need french go to another school, france or atheist buy all afternoon classes. The morning ones are not worth that much when a simple book (which topics repeat after 4 weeks) is all the material given.

During my 6 months there, i had a really great time meeting people and going to classes, i did french and english classes. The staffs are very comprehensible and will help you with anything you need. Every week we had funny activities in the student lounge, which gives us the opportunity to practice our english and french and also make new friends. I hope i can come back and enjoy the time with you guys again!

Estudei francês nessa escola, excelentes professores, excelente estrutura e apoio aos alunos, atendimento individual, a maioria dos funcionários falam inglês e francês então fica mais fácil a comunicação. Tem muitos passeios organizados para outras cidades e lugares turísticos.

EC Montreal. When I decided to study abroad, I was thinking to find a school to study English and French. So I started to do some research to find that school. In addition to studying two languages, my expectations were to make friends and to visit different places in Canada. Among the many options I had to choose from, fortunately I made the best decision. Of course, I chose EC Montreal. To my surprise, EC Montreal is much more than I expected. All staff members, each in their own way, helped me to feel at home. During my journey, I found new colleagues and made new friends, who were very helpful in building up my knowledge day after day. I can’t forget to say that TNT Tour and all their staff (Jhonny, Aura, Brian and all) were very important too. In my opinion, studying abroad is more than studying a new language. You learn about the culture, values, traditions, and other things about that place. In Montreal, I could learn much more than just about the city or the country itself; I could learn about different cultures in the same place, because we can find the world in this city. Surely, this isn’t a dream – in the same space we work together with people from Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and North America. It is really enriching to live in a place where people from all over the world work together and live in safety. I am thankful to all the teachers, staff, colleagues and all students that I had the opportunity to meet and become friends with. For the team at the office - Leidy and Gaby - you are wonderful. I thank you very much for your patience and competence in helping all the students. Renne, you are such a focused and amazing professional; I appreciate you very much. Ana, I am proud of you, because you are extraordinarily professional. My English and French teachers that I had the privilege of learning from (Seerat, Zeina, Julio, Olga, Katrina, Sean, Fatiha) were all very important in my journey. I would like to say thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for your helpfulness and care. This isn’t a goodbye; see you soon!
