I booked a hair and makeup artist from Espace Makeup for my wedding day for me, my mom, mother in law, and sister in law. We were connected with Karelle, who did an INCREDIBLE job with everyone, we all looked great - Karelle brought my vision of a vintage updo to life and even gave me some helpful feedback on my makeup (I did it myself). She was very professional and so sweet, bringing great vibes to a somewhat stressful day. I cannot recommend her and the Espace Makeup team enough- it was a great experience! Thank you again

I had the absolute privilege to meet Sophie and I can’t thank her enough for making me feel like the most beautiful bride. She was so kind and patient (even while I talked so much on my appointment day and bothered her even after my big day!!). Her gentle touch, her great sense of humor, and confidence made the whole experience such a joy. She is truly a talented artist. She is incredibly professional and truly knows hair and makeup — It is such a pleasure to work with someone who is so passionate about their job. Sophie knows what suits you, what enhances your features, and how to make you feel your absolute best. I felt completely at ease in her hands. I wish her and her team all the best: You don’t need to go anywhere else and I couldn’t recommend their services enough!

Sophie styled my hair on my wedding day, and she is incredible. She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and ensure your needs are met. She’s punctual, responsive, organized, and so friendly. During my trial, she took detailed notes and came fully prepared with everything we had discussed, including any changes I wanted. On the big day, she even stayed a little longer to place my veil properly and made sure my hair was perfectly on point as the photographer began taking some getting ready photos. She also gave great suggestions and took the time to show me different ways we could place my veil. We ended up changing how I originally thought it should be placed, and I’m so glad we did—it looked so much better! Thank you for everything, Sophie. You are a gem. Mélanie was my makeup artist and did an amazing job. My makeup lasted all day, even through the tears. She’s clearly passionate and knowledgeable, and the false lashes she used were applied seamlessly and looked so natural. I loved that she provided touch-up kits too. She’s easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable sharing my concerns. She had solutions for everything. She was also super responsive via IG message, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you so much, Mélanie. You’re so kind. My mom, sister, and friend also had their hair and makeup done by these two and all mentioned how professional they were and how much they loved the final result. I’m so grateful to both of you for helping us feel beautiful, calm, and cared for on such a special day.

I had the absolutely joy of working with Sophie and Veronique for my wedding - they did hair and makeup for my sister, my two sisters-in-law and I and we all looked absolutely stunning! I remain amazed at how well they captured my vision for my very colorful, very queer makeup and the joy and playfulness they added to my day - the fact that the makeup and hair both survived the day intact despite how much I cried feels like an absolute miracle! I deeply recommend working with this fantastic team 😀

Je me suis mariée en juin dernier et l’équipe d’Espace Makeup s’est occupée de nous avec tellement de soin et de professionnalisme. Dès le début, la communication avec Sophie a été impeccable. Étant une personne anxieuse qui aime tout préparer à l’avance pour que tout soit parfait, Sophie a su me rassurer du début à la fin. Elle a pris le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions et a rendu le processus simple, clair et agréable. Le jour J, nous étions neuf filles à préparer et, grâce à leur organisation, l’horaire a été parfaitement respecté sans aucun stress. J’ai même eu la chance d’avoir Sophie comme maquilleuse Un énorme merci aussi à Karla et Geneviève, nos coiffeuses, qui ont fait un travail magnifique. (PS: Bonus le tout a super bien tenu malgré une séance photo de 2h au soleil avant la cérémonie.)

Loved the makeup lessons! I took natural makeup classes with Veronique, and it was such a great experience. The vibe was super friendly, and you could tell she really knows her stuff. She was amazing at adjusting the lessons to exactly what I needed. No matter your skill level, this is the perfect place to start where you are and get to where you want to be!

I've had the chance to work with Sophie for a number of years now and can truly say that she is one of the best makeup and hair artists in Montreal! She is a true professional and works fast, delivering flawless results each time. I've always appreciated her genuine care in understanding my vision for a particular event and her subsequent efforts and patience in ensuring that I leave feeling confident and content with my final look. Additionally, as someone with darker skin who deals with some hyperpigmentation on the face, I've always been impressed with Sophie's knowledge and understanding of color theory and color correction. She is able to color match any skin tone effectively and can color correct in a way that leaves you with a beautiful, unified tone, regardless of what skin issue you may be dealing with. Lastly, she is always on time! This is something else I have truly come to appreciate about Sophie. The day before any of our appointments together, she will take the time to confirm the appointment and address with me. No matter how remote or obscure an address I've given her, she has always shown up on time and with a big grin on her face. I highly recommend Espace Makeup and Sophie in particular <3 <3.
