My experience at LaSalle College has been truly wonderful. My teachers are fantastic, kind, and empathetic. It’s a school that genuinely cares about the mental health and well-being of its students. They are always looking out for you, creating a kind and peaceful environment where you always feel supported and encouraged to learn. I’ve learned so much from my teachers, they’re all amazing. Next semester, I’ll be starting my stage, and I couldn’t be more excited. Yes, it’s a school that can be a bit expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it. I love going to class every day. LaSalle College has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and I’m deeply grateful to be part of this community. Thank you so much LaSalle College for everything!!!
On May 16th, I graduated. I was close to not attending, but the day before, I received a call from my now great friend, Émile Trottier-Dufour, Student Life Advisor. He asked for my family’s names and told me they would have a special place at the ceremony. And for me, many surprises—but ones he couldn’t reveal yet. The day arrived, and from the very beginning, my family and I were surrounded by such warmth and affection. Émile arranged a special spot for them and treated them as if they were part of his own family. Elisa Schaeffer, Dean of Technology, was also kind and thoughtful, making sure my family felt welcomed and well cared for. Then, after a few moments, Alban Baldacchino, from Air Canada began to speak about an academic excellence scholarship. Seconds later, Émile came to stand beside me, and that’s when I started shaking. A minute later, they announced my name. I couldn’t hold back the emotion, but there was Émile, giving me the warmest and most heartfelt hug I’ve received in a long time. "You deserve it, my friend!" he said. The emotion was overwhelming. I cried as I shared a few words with those present. This journey has been anything but easy. Two years ago, leaving my country and immigrating to Canada with my family was one of the most difficult things we’ve ever done. But it’s also here that I’ve realized more than ever that God’s kindness has always been with me and my loved ones. Afterward, there were more hugs and kind words. Thank you, Collège LaSalle Montréal and Air Canada, for this recognition. Thank you to my friends and classmates. To my wife and children, who deserve this recognition even more than I do. Thank you, Lyne Tremblay, Associate Director, for your warm hug and for being as moved as I was by this achievement. Thank you, Adib Lahlou, and to so many others who have been part of this journey.
The NY TRIP : It was so awesome to be in a country where you can be with your friends. I enjoyed a lot and it would be amazing to have this kind of experience again. Also a big thank you to Emile and Vickie for this experience.
I had a very disappointing experience at this college. The schedule was extremely hectic, with unbearably long hours of classes. The overall atmosphere felt more like a central jail than an educational institution suffocating, with no open spaces, everything confined and restricted. Some teachers behaved in an unreasonable, almost irrational way, while a few were decent, but the majority were excessively strict far beyond what is necessary. Unfortunately, it was my bad luck that I took admission here. The behavior of the staff was often rude, and I felt disheartened every single day.Even though my course itself was quite simple, the college made it unnecessarily complicated, which left me learning nothing of real value. Overall, it was a deeply negative and unproductive experience for me.i will never forget the bad behavior of some professors in my life . They are psycho teachers they need psychiatrists and they are teaching I mean why ??? Biggest mistake of my life my bad luck ☹️.
La visite en autobus était une très belle et bonne initiative. J’ai pu découvrir et apprendre des choses nouvelles. Je remercie le Collège pour cette belle sortie, et j’encourage les étudiants qui étaient absent à se joindre à la partie si ça se refait. ✅
Hello! I am currently a student studying in game development. For one of my courses which I needed to do some sort of volunteer work. Originally i had difficulty finding one that was available with my schedule. Then Emile trottier dufour who is someone that i know due to the fact that I participate in the clubs at school. Helped me out by offering to let me do some volunteer work at school! So i helped out with the kiosques ,clubs and surveys. Yesterday I had the chance to attend the Montreal Canadians game do to Emile and Adib organizing this outing. I wanted to thank you and appreciate the joy you bring to students and how you make our school a brighter and fun place. Thank you
