On May 16th, I graduated. I was close to not attending, but the day before, I received a call from my now great friend, Émile Trottier-Dufour, Student Life Advisor. He asked for my family’s names and told me they would have a special place at the ceremony. And for me, many surprises—but ones he couldn’t reveal yet. The day arrived, and from the very beginning, my family and I were surrounded by such warmth and affection. Émile arranged a special spot for them and treated them as if they were part of his own family. Elisa Schaeffer, Dean of Technology, was also kind and thoughtful, making sure my family felt welcomed and well cared for. Then, after a few moments, Alban Baldacchino, from Air Canada began to speak about an academic excellence scholarship. Seconds later, Émile came to stand beside me, and that’s when I started shaking. A minute later, they announced my name. I couldn’t hold back the emotion, but there was Émile, giving me the warmest and most heartfelt hug I’ve received in a long time. "You deserve it, my friend!" he said. The emotion was overwhelming. I cried as I shared a few words with those present. This journey has been anything but easy. Two years ago, leaving my country and immigrating to Canada with my family was one of the most difficult things we’ve ever done. But it’s also here that I’ve realized more than ever that God’s kindness has always been with me and my loved ones. Afterward, there were more hugs and kind words. Thank you, Collège LaSalle Montréal and Air Canada, for this recognition. Thank you to my friends and classmates. To my wife and children, who deserve this recognition even more than I do. Thank you, Lyne Tremblay, Associate Director, for your warm hug and for being as moved as I was by this achievement. Thank you, Adib Lahlou, and to so many others who have been part of this journey.

The NY TRIP : It was so awesome to be in a country where you can be with your friends. I enjoyed a lot and it would be amazing to have this kind of experience again. Also a big thank you to Emile and Vickie for this experience.

Hello! I am currently a student studying in game development. For one of my courses which I needed to do some sort of volunteer work. Originally i had difficulty finding one that was available with my schedule. Then Emile trottier dufour who is someone that i know due to the fact that I participate in the clubs at school. Helped me out by offering to let me do some volunteer work at school! So i helped out with the kiosques ,clubs and surveys. Yesterday I had the chance to attend the Montreal Canadians game do to Emile and Adib organizing this outing. I wanted to thank you and appreciate the joy you bring to students and how you make our school a brighter and fun place. Thank you

College LaSalle recently gave me and other students interested in quantum computing the amazing opportunity to visit the IBM and C2MI facilities in Bromont. It was a super insightful trip where we got to meet and learn from professionals at IBM and C2MI, all just for being students at LaSalle. I’m really grateful for the experience and appreciate the college for making it happen! (Was a nice way to wind down after midterms teehee)

Very disappointing experience. Most of the staff are older and unfortunately very rude, stubborn, and unsympathetic. The way they treat students is often disrespectful, and their language can be vulgar and unprofessional. The teaching methods are outdated and overly strict, making it hard to learn effectively. I also noticed unfair behavior from certain staff members, including gender bias. One particular teacher who identifies as gay showed clear hostility towards female students, which created a mentally disturbing and uncomfortable learning environment.Teachers are treating like we are kids . Overall, the college lacks emotional understanding and a student-friendly approach. I would not recommend it to those looking for a respectful and supportive academic atmosphere.
