Mile End Improv / Theatre VME

Excellent performing and teaching space for improv, character work, and movement in Montreal. The space seats about 50 and is styled in a thrust stage format. It makes for a very engaging and intimate space. There are weekly improv shows every Thursday, and some of Montreal's greatest improvisers produce shows on Fridays and Saturdays for a very reasonable price (around $10 to $15 as of this review). Buzz #250 to get inside the studio. Definitely worth checking out any show being put on!

The shows are hilarious and very affordable. The classes and workshops are taught by some of the most experienced and sought-after teachers in Montreal. I highly recommend trying out one of their drop-in workshops, all levels are welcome! This theatre fosters a great community.

11/10 Recommend taking classes here HANDS DOWN! One of the most welcoming and best places to take improv classes from the best improvisers/teachers in town! Also if you have a chance to catch a show, you totally should! Price is right and shows are always entertaining. This place is seriously the best ♥️

One of the best places in Montreal to get your comedy fix – both as an audience member and as a student! The workshops are always a fun time, and the classes are incredible and inspiring.
