Here is my offical review. 15 years ago I was a student here. Things may have changed since then. I came here as a guitar student, when Mr. Patrick was teaching me. He was very nice and freindly and he had a good and relaxed attitude at the time. The lessons came straight from the book, and I did not understand anything. I tried following his lessons and I tried learning through the book. I spent my sessions learning with him and was I was having a hard time. I became impatient and frustrated. After the contract was over, I never went back. So, the school was not for me. Thanks to Mr. Patrick for being patient and kind with me during the lessons. Today, I can say that I am deecent with the guitar. I am self-thought, although I need improvements and I am still learning through others and want to push myself to become better. God Bless this establishment and hope they improve. God Bless our musicians and God Bless those who want to make music and pursue it. Repent and believe. Jesus Christ is King.

Feel sick with their sales skills when I got forced to purchase their textbook. When I went to pick up my son today, I was told that the teacher started using a new book without asking any of the parents. she wrote my son’s name and put stickers on many pages. My son has only finished half of his last book. We were going to switch to a RCM program, not only we are now stuck with another book, and also we were forced to pay for the book, not to mention the book is almost $6 more expensive than retail. They whited out the printed retail price and put sticker on top of it. As a school, a teacher, an adult, they are setting a really bad example to the kids. Do not recommend. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: September 10th Suriya, please stop lying! we actually liked the first teacher, we changed our class from 30 mins to 1 hour. i already told you the reason we switched the teacher, which was my son had registered a karate class, his fingers are stiff after an intensive karate lesson. and we only changed ONCE, NOT SEVERAL TEACHERS!!!!!! i DID NOT ask for "good spot"!!! i took what was available. how you purchased the books, whether from US or elsewhere, and how much you paid for shipping, is not my business. i would appreciate a bit transparency and explanation before i swiped my credit card, not after i peeled off the sticker which covered a much lower price. you might have amazing teachers, i don't doubt it. however, how you treated your customers and their kids is just very unprofessional and untruthful!!!!

My kids have been taking lessons at this school for the better part of seven years (violin and piano), and we are very happy with the quality of the instruction. The teachers truly care about the children's enthusiasm as well as their progress. Communication is easy, and interaction with all staff members I have known over the years has been very professional. Elena is an amazing piano teacher, gentle yet disciplined, and Julia has inspired my daughter to truly love playing the violin. Since the school is quite far from where we live, years ago we tried switching to a teacher who was closer to us in downtown Montreal. My kids' interest and progress faltered, so we returned and have never looked back.

I've been taking lessons at Ecole Quebec Musique since before the current management and I've never had a problem getting a make-up lesson, whether the cancellation was by me or the school. My experience with the school may be a little different than most as I am an adult student who takes lessons because I know if I didn't, I would stop playing. I'm never going to be a great musician, but my current teacher, Antonio, is very patient with me, and often helps me adapt pieces I like so that I can play them, while at the same time making sure the pieces we work on aren't so easy that I'm no longer progressing.

A great music school. They have a lot of teachers and very good hours, even for people who are very busy. My violin teacher is phenomenal and very talented! I have learned a lot and she is very patient with me. The secretary is also very friendly and helpful. She always greets me with a smile and helps to makes it a nice place to learn.

if I think about a music school where I would like to subscribe my son, I choose this school right away. It offers high quality and professional courses, it is the ideal school where you can really learn music. The kids learns while having fun and experimenting, the staff is qualified and very kind. Teachers are treated professionally and is the ideal workplace. The school offers spaces and classrooms equipped with everything necessary. if you need something, they are always ready to help you. What anything else? I'm really grateful to this school that it's giving me the chance to grow as a teacher and as a person. Thank you !

I have been taking lessons for over a year now at the school and Julia and her staff have been amazing. Very attentive to our needs, very professionnel and extremely knowledgeable in regards to reading and playing music. Thank you for making a good violinist out of me!
