Merci!

The route setting used to be varied - including old school style, highly technical climbing - now it seems to be mostly huge coordination moves, all dynamic and "instragramable" problems… lots of people filming themselves.. miss the old route setting!

A nice gym with a good sized cafe area. The setting was fun and challenging. It can get hard to navigate when it gets busy which is normal in many gyms. And the workout/gym area is quite small which can feel quite cramped when 4 or more people are using it. Overall good experience, I'll definitely be back.

Such a cool gym, incredible vibes, super interesting and technical sets. Their shoe selection is impressive, and the cute cafe area is a super nice detail!

The place is nice and big, but still gets very busy so there’s a little waiting for each area. Overall, nice experience, will come back! 🙂

Upsetting experience tonight at Cafe Bloc. I came by with two friends, one of which wasn't going to climb, and will never climb but wanted to hang out and support us. She was forced to buy a full $28 day pass to watch. When our group reacted in a shocked manner, the front staff was rather cold and did not want to even talk with us further. I see in other reviews that this is the reason 90% of time this gym gets low ratings. I have never heard of this business model before, and honestly, if this is what "helps to cultivate a community of passionate climbers," I think this is the antithesis policy to make that happen. Yes, I understand limiting "extras" when it's busy, but maybe some flexibility would be nice depending on how busy the place is at the time. I am a passionate climber who values the climbing community, and this is just not it. Never going back, felt scummy and just looking for money.

Cafe Bloc is my favorite bouldering gym so far. They offer drinks and snacks, and the general ambiance is amazing ! There are quite a lot of walls and levels for everyone. I love that they have two areas for stretching and a mini gym with weights and bars. The place looks clean and cozy, with plants and paintings on the wall, some sofas to lounge while you rest or watch other people climb. I would recommend trying their oat milk lattes ! They also have a terrasse on the roof with one extra wall during summer and some chairs and hammocks. Like in most bouldering gyms, people are very friendly and helpful. ❤️ They have nice showers and a small locker room. Great shoes selection. One of my favorite things is their shared sauna. It's the reward after the session ! I think every gym should have one !
