Université Concordia

Its a good university but studies is tough here.

Superbe travail d'architecture. La façade est magnifique. Le visage du centre-ville de Montréal change peu à peu et se modernise pour le mieux.

During my visit to Concordia University in July 2023, having experienced several American universities, I found myself less impressed. The campus and facilities, while functional, lacked the awe-inspiring atmosphere of some counterparts. The professors, though knowledgeable, seemed relatively average in comparison. While the university provides a solid education, it didn't exude the academic vibrancy I expected. However, it's important to note that first impressions might not fully reflect the depth of education and opportunities offered. Individual experiences can vary greatly, and the true value of a university often reveals itself through academic programs, research initiatives, and student engagement.

Rating this for its facilities and its environemnt rather than as my experience as a student. Compared to other universities, it is rather clean and new. It is a building clearly built recently with all its tech, projectors in class room, abundance of outlets, computer labs, nice lounge areas, more outlets, display monitors, wifi, and even more outlets. Did you know there're plenty of outlets to charge your devices? It makes for a lot of good places to work since you can lounge and charge your devices almost anywhere. Otherwise, some issues include escalators frequently breaking down, overcrowding on a lot of floors, some bathrooms not being the cleanest, and horrors beyond belief in the 12th Hall Building bathrooms... While I can't say that Concordia is the best institute for a good (let alone fun) learning experience, the building that encompass the campus are very nice, and I put the bar for it higher than most schools.

Very nice building, especially because is directly connected to the subway and you don't need to go outside.

The Halloween party at Concordia was quite enjoyable. A great combination of people, songs and dance made the evening memorable.

Great uni! Great profs (not all of them as in every uni), great opportunities. Still a young university but has a lot of potential and can compete with the best unis in Canada in several fields (business, cs etc…).
