I love this place <3 the yoga classes are good, the spa, sauna, jacuzzi are amazing. The architecture of and old Church mixed with the gym blows my mind! And I really like it. Yes, It is true it fluctuated a bit in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, and availability of the saunas (breaks down once in a while), but in general, I can say I am satisfied with it. When the bistro next door is open during summer, it's even better !! But my needs might be different than others, since I'm a huge fan of spas and I don't need that many tools to train (mix of calisthenics + free weights/crossfit). All in all, if you love having lots of machines around and benches, it might be a bit "small" for you. And the price might seem too much if you never go to the spa. The staff are incredibly polite, very communicative regarding pricing and memberships, the facilities are clean, well-kept, and modern. THIS WAS THE BEST GYM! They have a variety of different equipment, plenty of space, and was not crowded at all. But the cherry on top was their Spa space. Dry and Wet Saunas, plus hot tubs and a cold plunge. They even had lounge spaces and complementary ice water and tea. If I lived in Montreal I would definitely purchase a membership. Great equipment, clean, and staff are overall friendly. Definitely one of the best gyms in the Plateau area. Suggestion to management: please kindly do more to enforce quiet zones in your spa indoor areas. Every time I go, especially on weekends, there are couples or groups of individuals who are in constant conversation with sound resonating throughout the spa building. This past weekend (January 27 2024), there was even a couple playing music on loud speaker mode in the spa, which boggles the mind. There was zero enforcement or intervention from the staff. This kind of behaviour (and lack of monitoring or active enforcement by staff on duty) really degrades the overall experience for every other member of the spa, who are going there to enjoy a quiet and calming environment, not to overhear chatty conversations. Ce joli bâtiment pourrait abriter un gym et spa de grande qualité. Ce n’est vraiment pas le cas alors que l’abonnement mensuel est de minimum 200$. Gym laissé à l’abandon : traces d’usure sur plusieurs appareils, appareil brisé non remplacé, tapis de la zone yoga abimés. Problèmes d’hygiène : banquettes de la zone spa avec des tâches brunes, moisissures dans les douches, serviettes régulièrement indisponibles (pourtant incluses dans le prix et obligatoires pour le sauna et les banquettes).
