J’adore cet endroit! J’ai toujours beaucoup de plaisir à y être. Nous y sommes bien reçu. Notre confort est un point fort.

Toujours un plaisir de regarder un show labas et les chaises sont quand même très confortable. Bon service également des employers si jamais tu as des questions.

A world class performance venue. Excellent acoustics and sight lines. Seating is very comfortable, staff are accommodating and the beverage service good.

Située au cœur du Quartier des Spectacles de Montréal, la Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier est une salle de spectacle grandiose et mythique. Avec ses 2996 places, elle est la plus grande salle québécoise de type théâtre à l’italienne. Pour une vue optimale, privilégiez la corbeille ou, à défaut, la mezzanine. Le balcon supérieur offre également une belle vue, selon votre budget.

On September 6th 2025, I did not expect to experience microaggression (or maybe even blatant racism) at a Hamilton play of all plays. My (asian) family and I only wanted to enjoy our evening and peacefully watch our favourite show, after waiting many months since purchasing the tickets. When we got there, we were wondering where to find playbills. Before heading to our seats in Row J on the right side facing the stage, I decided to ask the ushers nearby. There was a younger man and an older, middle-aged woman (very obviously Québécoise, with a blond/light brown bowl cut) dressed as ushers near our section toward the front. I asked the older woman where we could get playbills. At first, I thought she couldn’t hear me, so I repeated the question two more times, with my family joining in at that point. Suddenly, the younger man offered them to us, they had been in his hands the entire time. We all let out a collective "Oh, there they are" and were just relieved to finally have them. Then, out of nowhere, the older woman exclaimed in a very defensive tone, "Ohhh, you mean programme?" I simply smiled and was about to head back to my seat when she added, "Oh, but it’s French." We said nothing and were ready to turn away when she followed up with: "Bah, you have to learn French," wearing the smuggest expression on her face. I was too baffled to even respond because everything happened so quickly. We could only process that comment as we walked away. My family and I felt very insulted especially considering we all actually speak French! I myself work in a hospital where I help people in need and constantly switch between English and French to accommodate Quebec’s population, only to be told I need to "learn French" because an usher didn’t understand the word playbill? It was an incredibly awful way to start what I expected would be a delightful evening at the theatre. I’m glad we didn’t let it ruin the night and were still able to enjoy Hamilton. But employees need to be held accountable so that comments like this don’t go unchecked again.

La pièce a une superbe qualité sonore et même tout en haut tu vois très bien. Elle accueille 3000 personnes et le personnel connaît bien leur affaire. Super comme expérience.

Très bien assis et le son était très bon même surprenant pour une petite salle mais très acoustique Excellente soirée À la prochaine
