This is hands down the best driving school in Montreal! Morty’s is super flexible and accommodating. I never thought I could pass my road test on the first try, but I did! My instructor Oren was calm, patient, and made learning stress-free. I’ve tried other schools and teachers before, but only Morty’s got me this far. Highly recommend!

I just passed my motorcycle closed-circuit exam at SAAQ Henri-Bourassa yesterday, other learners from Morty also passed the exam as I watched them finished the tests with ease. Overall, I had great experience about learning to ride a motorcycle at Morty, the staffs at Montreal office were very friendly. Phil and Jerry are very good instructors; they are knowledgeable and adamant, which is good thing since riding a motorcycle is more demanding and dangerous, especially on the roads. I highly recommend taking an exam prep with Phil, his instructions are on point. The only minor issue for me is that their practice circuit is located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, it's a bit far from downtown. I would definitely recommend my friends to take motorcycle classes at Morty.

I had a la carte lessons to help me pass the driving exam this summer. Oren was a patient, pleasant and effective teacher. The electric car that we used for the lessons was also very enjoyable to practice in! I fully recommend Morty's Driving School; no matter what your experience with driving, you'll be fully prepared and confident with their lessons and approach!

Best driving school in Montreal! I had such a positive experience over the past year. The team was very welcoming, the theoretical classes were clear and well-structured, and the driving instructors were patient, caring, and supportive (special shoutout to Anatol ✨!). I also really appreciated the helpful tips they provide on their website, which made preparing for both the theory and road exams much easier. Highly recommend!

TLDR: I am 35 with a few health conditions which complicates driving. Nevertheless, thanks to Mortys instructor Uli and a few others, I got a lot of great tips and good driving practice. I passed the road test at Laval on the 1st try. Long version: My story starts last year. I had turned 34 and my experience trying to learn to drive at the age of 26 had left me with a fear of the process. However, due to personal circumstances, I was strongly motivated to try again. Before selecting Mortys as my driving school, I looked at a few schools. What I really liked was that Mortys has 4 locations and multiple instructors, so I had options both in terms of areas where I could learn and practice driving and instructors who could help me learn. Out of these 4, I am not sure how active the Vaudreuil location is and in my opinion, the best instructors are in the Montreal location. I started with Tze in the Montreal location. He is a great instructor for nervous beginners. He explains the rules of the road well, in great detail. He shares great tips for driving well. After a while, I had learnt the rules and the tips. However, due to my health conditions, I still often made mistakes. At that point, I needed extensive practice and confidence boost. This is when I switched to Uli, an instructor who works in both Montreal and the West Island. Uli is an amazing instructor - he pointed out my mistakes but didn't dwell on them. He let me correct my mistakes without taking the wheel unless really really necessary. I think he did it once in the ten hours of lessons I took with him. I didn't have access to a car - my friends either had big expensive cars which I hesitated to practice with or didn't drive at all. So I ended up taking a lot of private lessons at Mortys, especially with Uli - I think I took around 20 hours of private lessons - all instructors combined. After a year of this, it was time for my road test. I signed up for Mortys VIP service at the Laval location. So I met up with my VIP service instructor Humy in Montreal. He let me drive to the Laval SAAQ - which was awesome. Once in Laval, we practiced parking and also drove around the area. Humy is like Uli in the sense that he doesn't dwell on or focus on errors too much. He is really encouraging which helped me calm my nerves. The road test was long, there was a lot of traffic in Laval. And I had two examiners. Nevertheless, I passed with flying colors! Looking back, I would like to point out a couple of things about Mortys - it is an anglophone / bilingual school. Tze speaks French but not all the instructors do. The examiners however are quebec government employees. They may or may not speak English. However, I had learnt some French and looked up common things that an examiner might say so it wasn't so bad for me. The other thing is booking a lesson involves making a phone call. Around 20% of the time, I was put on hold and the call got disconnected. 80% of the time though, they got back to me while I kept holding. I don't like making phone calls but Mortys made the process easy. The theory lessons are over zoom but the instructors make it quite engaging and interesting. Overall, my experience with Mortys has been excellent. Mortys' Montreal instructors especially deal with students who don't have access to a car outside Mortys and they do a fantastic job with these students.

Started Morty’s driving lessons and got Anatol as an instructor and I must say, he is great! He has a very calm but controlled way of teaching which definitely helps me feel comfortable! I hope to have him the remainder of my driving lessons! Thank you Anatol! Anyone who is new, ask for him as your instructor!
